So, much like =proffate, it is getting towards the busy end of the year for me. I have no less than five projects due within the month. Hooray! Thankfully three of them have money involved, so it isn't all bad. Then things will probably quieten down for a while on the sound design front, but they will heat up at work, what with the Christmas period beginning. Then after that, I'm off on my Thailand adventure, so whilst I do have something to look forward to, there's a buttload of work to be done between now and then. In fact, I think I'll make an itemised list of things to look forward to and things to not look forward to:

Things to look forward to (in chronological order):

Release of Star Trek on Blu Ray (by the time you read this)
Progressive release of Dexter Season 4 (every Monday for 8 weeks)
Release of Transformers 2 on Blu Ray (November 5th)
Release of Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time (November 5th)
Getting paid for sound work (Sometime soon)
Christmas (December 25th)
Thailand Holiday (Jan 3rd - Jan 24th)

Things not to look forward to:

Due dates for "Wunderkind" and "Garbage Man" (9th November)
Due date for "Enjoy Your Heaven" (16th November)
Due date for "CATS-RPM" (Sometime in November)
Due date for "Superzeroes" (Sometime in November)
Christmas (December 25th)
Bill for Thailand Holiday (Jan 3rd - Jan 24th)

That isn't to say that I won't enjoy myself working on all of those animations - all of them have been very cool experiences so far, and paying for a holiday comes with *going* on a holiday, so that isn't such a bad thing. And Christmas is, well, Christmas. Heaps of hours at work, but generally a good time with fellow over-stressed staff members.

All in all, things are looking quite positive, except for the deadlines that are closing in quite quickly, but I'll be able to get them done in time!
